Royalty is due on all performances of all the plays on our website, whether or not admission is charged. A "performance" is any presentation of a play or part of a play before an audience, including workshops, assembly programs, previews, and rehearsals to which spectators are admitted. Royalty is due on all contest and festival performances. Always read carefully the copyright information at the front of each playbook. The Copyright Laws guarantee theatres a continuing supply of good plays and assure authors fair treatment of their property. Copying scripts or presenting performances without paying royalty is a Federal offense, punishable by fines and/or imprisonment.
PERUSAL COPIES. We recommend that you purchase and read a single copy of each play that interests you before ordering copies for an entire cast. We want you to be satisfied and to love our plays as much as we love handling them for you, but we cannot send books on approval nor accept returns (to do so would result in exorbitant price increases). You may purchase any number of copies; we do not have a minimum requirement. However, copying plays is immoral and illegal, even for classroom useso order enough to go around.ALL SALES ARE FINALPLAYS MAY NOT BE RETURNED
