Synopsis
Eddie Cope is at it again! This time the suspense is about a man's reputation tarnishing the University where he is a professor.

Trouble is in the air at Joshua Fraser University, where an upstanding member of the faculty is rumoured to be the man behind the notorious pen name, Giles Fletcher. Giles Fletcher may be the hottest name on the best-seller list, but he made his name with novels of the most scandalous nature, and a nosy gossip columnist is determined to ferrett out Fletcher's true identity while Joshua Fraser's chairman of the board vows that anyone who writes the kind of material found in Fletcher's books will never be allowed to work at the university. It turns out that not only are the rumors true, but the culprit is none other than the university's president-desigante himself. It is a game of lies, intrigue, and careful plotting to avoid the revelation of the truth, but as more and more people learn Fletcher's true identity, tensions rise, and the carefully laid balancing act begins to topple. A play of fun-filled suspense.

Two acts; Set, library-sitting room; Time, the present.
